The Community Outreach Committee is seeking 5 volunteers for the Spring Book Collection benefiting Network and the Boys and Girls Club of America. Friends of the Library allow Altrusa to have a first choice selection of unsold books on the Monday after their used book sale. Volunteers will meet to select books for the Network of Community Ministries and chess books for the chess project at the Richardson location of the Boys and Girls Club of America. If you love books, you will love this project and have great fun sorting through hundreds of books to find hidden treasures that will benefit these two worthy organizations.
